The 22-year-old man accused of killing two people and wounding a third told police he planned to kill as many black people as possible and he had been planning to kill all "non-white" people and was "fighting for a dying race." For many years there was a chain ferry across the river Itchen from Southampton to Woolston. Also known as the Floating bridge. It was Painted by artist LS Lowry RA. About 30 years ago it was replaced by a bridge. But it was part of Southamptons identity.
